Conditions
A few important requirements
- Clear title & ownershipYou must legally own the asset with no undisclosed liens or judgments.
- Usable conditionItems should be functional and safe. We reserve the right to inspect before accepting.
- No environmental liabilitiesFor real estate, disclose environmental history; we may require a Phase I assessment.
- Independent appraisal (>$5,000)Items valued over $5,000 require a qualified independent appraisal for tax purposes.
- Delivery & pickupWe'll coordinate pickup or delivery; large items may involve a mutually agreed timeline.
- Tax receiptWe provide a written acknowledgment for every accepted donation — required for your deduction.
